

And sure enough as we approach Megan's house I see that it really is built into the walls - or at least a building that buts right onto the east wall. Megan gets access to some pretty unique areas like the hidden chapel of Sir Thomas More and a crypt that hides a mass grave of people who've died at the Tower. She continued: "There are little moments when you are walking around when you suddenly feel as if you're in a Royal court. Megan's house is an old medical facility literally built into the Tower walls (ME) I get a bit star struck now and then because of the amount of amazing historical figures who have graced these walls." But I've got a new appreciation for history because I'm living right in it. I sometimes get a few funny looks when I'm walking my dog in the moat. "I'm allowed to go anywhere and do anything really. "People think they know about the Tower but there's a lot of bits that people never see and a lot of stuff that can't be proved for certain, so I'm trying to help people explore some of the myths," she tells, me as we walk around the inner courtyard accompanied by her dad, Beefeater Chris Clawson.

She's smart too, using her acting skills to present her unique home to the world in a series of TikTok videos helping explain the hidden history of the Tower to a whole new generation. Having completed her studies at university, Megan has started working as an extra in films and with flowing red hair and dress she's every inch the tower princess.
